The disparity

It’s not about coverage.
It’s about not‑spots.

A network can show three or four bars of signal and still fail to load a single web page — because capacity, not coverage, is what users actually feel at the busy end of the day.

In urban areas, capacity not-spots are far more common than coverage not-spots. We find both, visualise them side-by-side, and filter by time of day so you can see exactly when the network buckles.

What we do

Mobile networks, measured as users experience them.

We don’t model coverage from a desk — we drive, walk and cycle the streets, polling every network at the same time. The result is a true, like-for-like, street-level picture of what your residents, visitors and customers actually get on their phones.

How it works

From survey to evidence in four steps.

NetworkUX is designed to give councils, infrastructure providers, regulators, business groups, and event teams an honest, defensible evidence base — the kind that holds up in a meeting with a network operator.

  1. Survey the area

    Drive, walk or cycle — or place a battery-powered NetworkUX kit in a vehicle fleet (such as waste collection) for ongoing coverage mapping. Portable kits swap between vehicles to target specific daily routes.

  2. Capture every reading

    Hundreds of thousands of geolocated, timestamped measurements per survey, across every major network, at every point along the route.

  3. Visualise on the platform

    RAG-coloured hex maps, raw datapoints and address search — with operator and time filters that make patterns immediately obvious.

  4. Act on the evidence

    Export to KML, shapefile, JSON, CSV or PDF. Take credible, granular evidence to operators and regulators — and finally have a productive conversation.
